We strive for increasing the numbers of outgoing students and staff. For reasons of strategic budget management we did not intend to finance long-term student mobilities. Instead we wanted to provide for as many students a blended short-term mobility and for as many staff/faculty as possible a meaningful professional stay abroad. Short-term mobilities are an excellent format to provide students who do not want to or cannt stay abroad for a longer period of time with an intercultural experience. We believe that spending some time abroad - as part of their studies or professionally - provides our target groups with an invaluable international and intercultural experience. We are also convinced that an Erasmus stay abroad contributes to the identification with Europe and its values.
