Hochschule Bielefeld - University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI, formerly Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences) pursues three main objectives through its participation in the Erasmus+ programme: Firstly, we aim to significantly increase student mobility in order to facilitate intercultural exchange and global perspectives for all students, faculty and staff. Secondly, we want to increase the attractiveness of our study locations in Bielefeld, Minden and Gütersloh for international students. By internationalising the curricula and promoting intercultural competencies in our degree programmes, we strive to create an attractive learning environment that appeals to students from all over the world and provides them with a high-quality education. Thirdly, we aim to embed internationalisation at all levels of our university. This includes integrating international aspects into teaching, research and administration as well as creating an intercultural campus life. Through the Erasmus+ programme, we have the opportunity to promote these internationalisation goals and increase the number of mobilities in all status groups.
