Participation in the Erasmus+ Programme Key Action 1 - Learning Mobility of Individuals is an important component of the Frankfurt School's internationalization strategy. It is in line with the School's self-image of educating people with a wide range of interests who learn with and from each other, and who are eager to change their perspectives and seek new incentives. Both through a personal stay abroad as well as by learning together with and from students and faculty of different nationalities and backgrounds, the participants’ understanding of Europe and their selfperception as EU citizens deepens. In doing so, students are able to strengthen their independence on a personal level and enhance their understanding of democracy, further develop problem-solving strategies, and help actively shape their own and their community's present and future on a societal level. Participation in FS mobility programmes is in any case independent of the applicants' social or economic background, or their physical constitution. Thanks to the large number of Erasmus+ partner universities, a wide range of opportunities is available to all interested parties to get to know Europe and its cultural, linguistic, and geographical diversity.
