Objectives

In the 2021 project, TU Dortmund University (TUDO) has pursued the clear goal of increasing the number of people (students and employees) who complete a stay abroad as part of the Erasmus+ program and at the same time further improving the quality of the program. In addition, TUDO aimed to use the funds from the 2020, 2021 and 2022 calls as efficiently as possible so that the mobilities registered here deviate from the actual mobility figures for the 2021/2022 academic year. As a further objective, the priority topics of the new program generation (digitalization / inclusion / green mobility / civic engagement) and the new opportunities (e.g. international mobility; BIP) were immediately strategically integrated and prioritized. The project was designed to make optimal use of all facets of the new program generation and the financial opportunities within the available funds so that TUDO students and employees could benefit directly. In addition, the focus at times was on overcoming challenges (e.g. consequences of Brexit; high mobility numbers following the Covid-19 pandemic).
