With this first project of the new program generation, we wanted to ensure that students and university staff are supported through the Erasmus program and that the qualitative goals and commitments that the University of Oldenburg has made by signing the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education are implemented. For the 2021 project, the Covid-19 pandemic still had an indirect impact on mobilities. Due to the longer duration of the 2020 project and the resulting additional administrative work involved in regulating finances and grants, the International Office decided to fund student mobility via the 2021 project for the summer semester 2022 only, in order to then return to the original billing option (funding one academic year per project) from the winter semester 2022/23. In this project, it was possible for a number of university employees to make business trips - this was not allowed in the 2020 project due to the pandemic. We were able to fund a total of 72 mobilities after all. As planned, long-standing partnerships were cultivated and expanded in this project. Overall, the mobility measures were implemented at the same high quality level as in previous projects.
