Objectives

National borders lose their importance for science through the completion of the European Higher Education and Research Area. Moreover, to operate successfully in globalised markets and culturally specific working areas, a lively international and intercultural exchange is indispensable. Therefore Hochschule München - Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) offers all University members the possibility to study internationally, to enable international teaching and research experiences as well as to develop intercultural competences.HM's current internationalisation strategy has the long-term goal of further expanding the internationalisation. In addition to profound professional competence, our students should distinguish themselves by entrepreneurial, sustainable and international thinking and acting. Internationality as a special trait of our graduates as defined in HM’s longterm vision can be described as such: Students of HM have the opportunity to gain international experience and intercultural skills during their studies. The structured Erasmus+programme provides strong organisational and financial support for stays abroad.
