Despite the ongoing precaution measures of the pandemic, regular information events took place, which were also well attended. One main objective was to return at least to a pre-pandemic level of mobilities. Without having a study programme with an obligatory semester stay abroad and the majority of the student body being teacher training or social service students, it is not easy to motivate the students for an international experience anyway, let alone get back to a “normal” level of mobility with the social aftermath of Covid still in the minds of everybody. The introduction of blended intensive programmes were seen “as an icebreaker” to re-install the enthusiasm for international mobilities. It was also seen as a shift in internationalisation away from the mere increase of mobility numbers to a more substantial and sustainable way to internationalize the curricula of the different fields of study.
