Times of crises and challenges show us what is really important and help us to master life. For mobilities in the framework of Erasmus and worldwide the last 3 years were a painful cut and an option for development in the same time. We all have to learn again to communicate outside of isolation, to make friends without mental stress, fear for health and mistrust. To come back to a trusting relationship should be one of the most important goals for the Europe-wide Erasmus-community. Unfortunately the consequences and challenges of the time of pandemic didn’t end with the end of the project. The expectations and hopes we had when the project has started in summer 2020 have not been fulfilled: to increase the numbers of mobilities, to deepen the cooperations, to create common European study programs and work closer together to let hear our voice for Europe especially for the youth which is carrying our future. So we had to switch our job to support the students abroad who can’t come back or to to find a way to come back, to support the students, who couldn’t go home during their stay in Germany, to help them to use digital teaching offers successfullly and take care for them in personal desperate moments.
