One of the key components of the internationalisation strategy of the TH Augsburg is the individual mobility. Participants from different backgrounds are all given the same opportunity to profit from the benefits of the Erasmus+ programme and are able to use the competence acquisition gained abroad in later stages of their future, thus having a sustainable and character-building effect and enabling an active contribution to regional and global society. In the same mannerism, the strategic personnel development has become more important and the need for improvement acknowledged. Part of this acknowledgement, is that communication and cultural understanding must be a part of the basic structures in order to be successful. Language barriers must be minimised and the acquisition of foreign languages and understanding of different cultures are integral to accomplish this goal. The international visibility and quality standards of Teaching, Research and Learning are essential for the future development and identity of the University. We aim to become a central focus point for students and regional companies, therefore improving the attraction of Augsburg for prospective employees encouraging Internationalisation@Home.
