The HAWK's Erasmus+ project 2021 KA 131 had the overall goal of promoting the European values of mutual understanding, intercultural cooperation and linguistic competence. By participating in the programme, students, teachers and staff were to be given the opportunity to further develop their personal and professional skills in an international environment and strengthen their intercultural sensitivity. In addition, students with fewer opportunities were to be encouraged to gain international experience and broaden their career prospects. Another goal was to promote the internationalisation of the university itself and to integrate international topics into the study program at the HAWK. Through networking with the participating partner universities, cooperation in teaching should be intensified and international topics should be incorporated into teaching. This makes the partnerships an important factor with regard to the quality of education and research in Europe.
