At the University of Luebeck, the Erasmus Programme is a very important component in regard to study stays abroad. We register a steady increase in numbers of participants. The implementation of new study programmes will in future lead to new cooperations and a further increase in mobility numbers. All stays abraod, whether for studies or internships, can be integrated in the degree course at home. The recognition practice is well established and works frictionless. The International Office cooperates closley with all faculties, due to the centralized organisation and the size of our university (4900 students). The internationalisation at our university is constantly evolving and the ERASMUS programme plays a significant role in this process. Our university is actually the smallest, regarding student numbers, in Germany with a focus on health sciences, natural sciences and technology. The student support system is excellent and even personal.
