The Erasmus+ programme is at the heart of the internationalisation activities at Europa-Universität Flensburg (EUF). The programme not only enables students and members of staff to go abroad, but also makes a substantial contribution to the internationalisation of the entire university. After the significant drop in mobility numbers due to the coronavirus pandemic, one of the project objectives was to achieve a pre-coronavirus mobility level with the established and new mobility formats of the 2021-2027 programme generation. As teacher training is a core element of the EUF profile, there is a particular focus on the mobility activities of this target group. The establishment of a central recognition office at the International Center, which guarantees long-term academic recognition in line with the Lisbon Convention, has already contributed to an increase in the mobility of teacher training students. In addition, a position for internationalisation in the teacher training degree programmes was created in January 2023 to develop new mobility formats.
