Objectives

Gesundheit. The internationalisation of the university relies heavily on promoting the mobility of students and teachers. The number of mobilities is to be increased successively, especially through the ERASMUS+ funding programme. Currently, in terms of student support, the ERASMUS+ programme is mainly used to promote student placements/internships in foreign healthcare institutions. Study semesters abroad are difficult to realise due to the model course structure and the interdisciplinary, innovative study programmes and are accordingly less frequently funded. The International Office strives to continue increasing these numbers through appropriate information and communication measures. In the past ERASMUS+ project, the mobility of lecturers mainly took place for the purpose of further education and training. This is indispensable for the subject disciplines and degree programmes at the University of Applied Sciences, as this way a professional exchange with colleagues abroad is realised and intensified, which ultimately also benefits the quality of teaching and studying. Both teachers and students usually come back from their stays abroad enthusiastic and motivated and are open-minded to further stays abroad.
