The Erasmus+ Programme is of great importance for the internationalisation at the University of Münster (e.g. internationalisation of study and teaching, creation of incentives, implementation of cooperation projects). With regard to mobility numbers, the objective for the 2021 project was to keep the numbers stable despite the continuing restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic (SMS) or to increase them again after the numbers had fallen significantly in the previous years, which were more severely affected by the pandemic (SMP and ST). One focus was on the introduction of the new Programme Generation, including the digitisation requirements. Another objective, particularly in SMS, was to improve the coordination of curricula and the mutual recognition of achievements. The objectives for SMP were in line with those of the Careers Service: Increasing students' employability and strengthening their independence, self-efficacy and intercultural competence. Among other things, STA aimed to improve the quality and quantity of English-language teaching and to make use of synergy effects. For STT, the focus was on the internationalisation of non-academic staff in the university’s administration and departments.
