Founded in 1818, the University of Hohenheim has a long tradition in the agricultural and natural sciences. With 40 degree programmes, including 13 Bachelor's and 27 Master's programmes, it offers a broad spectrum in the agricultural, natural, economic and social sciences. The campus offers an inspiring learning environment with a wide range of opportunities for personal and professional development. The University of Hohenheim focuses on bioeconomy and digital transformation, which is continued in the 2023-2027 strategy and development plan. It played a key role in the founding of the European Bioeconomy University (EBU) and is in active dialogue with partners such as the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) and HERMES. The University of Hohenheim is committed to improving the conditions for student exchanges and increasing mobility figures. Hybrid and virtual exchange formats are supported in the interests of inclusion. Erasmus+ promotes intercultural competences and an understanding of different dependencies, which further strengthens the strategy for teaching at the University of Hohenheim. It is therefore an established and important building block for implementing the university strategy.
