Objectives

The Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin is a traditional and internationally renowned state university for social work, health, education and training. It realizes and promotes its internationalization through the worldwide exchange of students, lecturers and staff and through the international research projects of its academics. These measures are primarily driven by participation in the Erasmus+ program. The university wants to qualify all students as its primary target group to be international and open-minded, to promote their intercultural awareness and corresponding (professional) political commitment as well as their personal growth and thus prepare them for a globalized job market. The acquisition of transcultural skills and insights into international academic approaches and methods are seen as part of a comprehensive academic education, which are acquired in particular through international mobility. "Internationalization@Home" measures are part of the internationalization strategy. The aim is to make these elements a natural part of all students' studies.
