There are around 300-350 mobilities that take place in the Outgoing Team of the University of Bayreuth each year. Mobilities with the program countries enable students, lecturers and employees of the University of Bayreuth to have a sponsored exchange free of charge, which contributes to the internationalization strategy of the University of Bayreuth and actively implements it. Moreover, the project 2021 intended to secure this exchange and to increase the number of mobilities for teachers and employees throughout the STT and STA areas. Due to the challenges caused by COVID-19 the implementation of the project became more difficult. Nevertheless, we were able to achieve our goals in the course of the extended project duration. Accordingly, there was an overlap of projects, which very quickly exceeded the personnel capacities and still influences the daily work.
