The Erasmus+ programme for student and staff mobility is the foundation of the European dimension in Aalen University's internationalisation strategy and thus one of its most important elements. Anchoring the European dimension in the form of the Erasmus+ programme to achieve its goals is also part of the University's new 2024-2028 structure and development plan. By implementing the project, the university is aiming to facilitate and increase mobility in both directions and has realized this again in the wake of the pandemic. The programme also serves to create an international campus where different cultures can come together. No other programme makes it so easy for university members, whether students, staff or professors, to participate in internationalisation. The 2021-1-DE01-KA131-HED-000008649 project thus serves in particular also to promote the personal development of students in order to prepare them to assume professional and social responsibility as future specialists and managers in a Europeanized economy with a global orientation.
