Objectives

One of the four main strategic priorities of TU Dresden (TUD) is the internationalisation of studies and teaching. This objective is achieved primarily by promoting student mobility abroad by expanding mobility windows, facilitating recognition procedures and significantly expanding English-language degree programmes. However, this goal is also promoted by embedding STA mobility in certified qualification measures as part of the personnel development strategy within the framework of Erasmus. In 2021, TUD joined the EUTOPIA university alliance. EUTOPIA - made up of ten European universities - is student-centred and committed to inclusion, innovative teaching models and promoting the mobility of people. Consequently, mobility flows within the framework of Erasmus are the essential building stone for the success of the university alliance. Above and beyond these endeavours, TUD sees itself as an inclusive university. In order to improve participation at the TUD, it is crucial to create positive framework conditions, with Erasmus in particular making an important contribution by introducing the new social top-ups.
