Background

The context of our project aligns with the objectives and concerns of LLD. LLD is dedicated to promoting active citizenship and raising awareness about migrants' issues in Germany and potentially at the European level. Currently, the organization's activities primarily target young people. However, LLD aims to expand its involvement by organizing regular local/national activities, training sessions, awareness-raising initiatives, events, and international projects that cater to the needs of an adult audience. In this context, LLD's project aims to address these challenges by focusing on non-formal education methodologies, specifically civic education. The partnership with MVNGO in Italy provides LLD with access to high-end knowledge and methodologies in adult education, which can be utilized to develop and implement initiatives that promote inclusion, tolerance, and active citizenship. By enhancing competencies and skills in this area, LLD seeks to contribute to creating a more inclusive and tolerant society, countering the negative sentiments and discrimination faced by migrants and minorities in Germany and across Europe.
