A comparative creation of needs for learning software based on AI that could be used in small and medium-sized educational institutions. The focus is always on the target group of people with low learning competence. Concrete definition of the performance profile of the programmes with which the partners want to expand their offer. Joint research for suitable providers and suitable programmes. Selection of offers according to the previously defined profiles. In the case of a partner, or in concrete fields of application, a test of the selected platform/method on the concrete target group with a course offer. Examination of the software with regard to aspects of data protection. AI-supported learning is closely linked to the use of personal competences and action patterns. How are these insights about the user protected from misuse Evaluation of this testing and implementation of the offers. The accompanying process is the documentation of the steps of the search and selection, the development of generally valid criteria for the search for AI learning platforms and the creation of an action guide for the implementation.
People with low qualifications often have lower digital competences, which, however, belong to the eight key competences of the European Reference Framework for Lifelong Learning. Adult education today is not only about acquiring knowledge, but about learning throughout life and work. International studies have confirmed that people with low basic skills also have a higher risk of poverty or exclusion and are more likely to fall ill. Small and medium-sized education providers are overwhelmed by the abundance of learning software offers, especially in the AI sector. Those who want to expand their existing adult qualification offers with efficient digital learning programmes can only find suitable software with great effort. The use of technical solutions using the example of AI-supported, adaptive learning platforms that enable highly effective and at the same time cost-effective learning support for people with low learning competences in the European context was the focus of the project.
