Objectives

We wanted to achieve multiple goals in the project. Our first goal was to address the needs of participating organizations and their target groups, including the need for trained instructors aswell as reaching new audiences. The project planned to provide certified training, organize meetings, hold webinars, and shape the future of the methodology. Secondly, we aimed to build a transnational network of partners to expand the dissemination and development of the methodology. Collaboration with international partners would bring diverse expertise and resources, allowing for mutual enrichment and new approaches. Our main objective was to meet those needs, promote the inclusive methodology and foster transnational cooperation. By achieving these goals, we aimed to contribute to the development and dissemination of innovative and inclusive methods in circus education, benefiting individuals, regardless of their age or disabilities in a playful and inclusive way.

Background

The reason for applying for this project was the desire for transnational cooperation and the need for more trained instructors in the method of "Functional Juggling". Our organization recognized the benefits of this inclusive methodology in terms of physical development, brain function, and hand-eye coordination, and wanted to make these benefits accessible to all people, regardless of age, disability, or previous experience. The project aimed to gather the expertise and needs of various organizations and countries within the existing European network. We believe that funding for this project would lay the foundation for the dissemination and further development of this diverse method of promoting movement, as well as facilitate mutual enrichment among partner organizations on a European level. The project was seen as a way to promote awareness and recognition of the methodology as a European initiative, benefiting health, social, and circus education organizations and institutions in participating countries.
