The objective is staggered into three parts: 1. the current state and self-reflection 2. thinking outside the box 3. improvements This means that the students reflect on and evaluate their own actions in terms of sustainability, i.e. questioning whether their actions are sustainable or not and whether there is room for improvement!? Secondly, they should get to know cities or municipalities that have a certain role model function. Thirdly, they should then evaluate what they have experienced and seen and make one or two changes to their behaviour in terms of sustainability.
Our school has participated in Erasmus projects in the past, especially for teachers. One Erasmus project has already taken place, in connection with 5 partners from Lithuania, Belgium, Portugal, Greece and Italy, in which pupils from our institution also participated. The project that has just ended was an idea of the Spanish partners with whom I have been working for years. The topic of "green mobility" is very interesting for our institution because we are a school located on the edge of a bicycle-friendly small town with a catchment area of up to 15 kilometres. Thus, the topic is the daily routine of almost all pupils when they come to us every day.
