The project is transcultural: we explore overlaps, mixtures and interconnections between cultures using tea as an example. The starting point is the East Frisian tea culture. It is recognized as an intangible UNESCO cultural heritage. At each school, a "teahouse" is created as an aesthetically designed object and as a place of encounter during the joint project work. With the creation of teahouses in all participating organizations, signs for the future are to be created, since also persons are to inspire, who are perhaps not directly involved in the project.
"Tea and Tide," or cultural space and natural space, are the theme in this project. The participating organizations are developing models of how the environmental idea as well as the regional cultural space can be mapped in the schools.
