Our main goal: to engage teachers in intercultural projects, train them and share knowledge. In this way, they deepen intercultural competencies and understanding of cultures in order to better recognize student needs. Another aim is to increase the use of cultural diversity, migration and global interdependencies in the classroom, broaden students' horizons and help them understand global issues. Teachers receive training for successful projects and intercultural elements in the classroom. The goal is to sensitize teachers to individual student needs while promoting intercultural education, leading to an enhanced educational experience and cosmopolitan learning environment
The context of our project aims to make intercultural projects more practicable and feasible for our teachers. On the one hand, this means facilitating the organization of student projects at the information level, whether in the area of project management or in determining thematic and content priorities for project selection. An urgent concern at the ASG was the provision of clear guidance for the implementation and organization of international projects. In this context, there was a need to promote project management skills for teachers and to remove any uncertainties they might have in organizing such international projects. In addition, there was a need to launch an Erasmus project, but there was a lack of inspiration and concrete approaches. The demand for a comprehensive, interdisciplinary project was also strongly felt. This project aimed to promote intercultural competencies not only among teachers, but ultimately among students as well.
