Objectives

Our main aim was to serve happy individuals and a happy European society through our project In addition to developing self-confidence and self-esteem by expressing themselves through music, our students participating in the project increase their awareness of individual differences, strengthen their tolerance and empathy levels, create a positive and effective learning environment in participating schools, activate the willingness of participating teachers and students to try and discover new methods, increase the perception of society. It was aimed to experience the feeling of success together through division of labor and cooperation. Our another main goal was to ensure that the Orff-Schulwerk music approach was recognized by all the teachers involved in the project and to ensure the sustainability of our project by actively using it in the lessons.

Background

As a result of the meetings with all the teachers of our school, the effectiveness and importance of art activities for a youth that embraces all segments of the society and adopts an inclusive culture was emphasized and it was decided to produce projects that would bring students together with different skills. Development of self-awareness, sense of self-worth, communication with peers and community involvement Orff-Schulwerk is an effective music education that gives place to all individuals in line with their abilities and thus provides a musical environment in which each individual can be involved.Being independent from all ages, special talents and special needs, it is carried out in the form of group music activities in which each individual participates in line with their own abilities and competencies. It enables people with different abilities to meet in a common life.Orff-Schulwerk approach, which is actively applied as a part of integrative education in many European countries, contributes to an environment of social integration and harmony through the recognition and experience of our students and colleagues in Europe. The Orff-Schulwerk musical approach gives us a great deal of experience in this goal.
