Objectives

Our natural resources are diminishing every day due to the increase in world population and changing consumption patterns. Therefore, efficient use of these natural resources is necessary to minimize material consumption by recycling potential waste. In the production process, natural resources (e.g. forest, water, oil, etc.) Packaging such as glass, paper, metal and plastic are obtained as a result of their use. Once these packages in the market become waste, they are separated according to their types and delivered to the recycling industry to be used as secondary raw materials in the production process of various products. In this way, we use less natural resources and contribute to nature. Waste is not only an environmental problem, it is also an economic loss. For example, we can save oil by recycling plastic waste. 100 liters of oil are saved for each ton of recycled plastic. The first step in a healthy recycling system is to collect and separate materials by type. If this waste, which has the potential to be recycled, is mixed with garbage, the secondary products made with this waste are of poorer quality, which causes problems during the cleaning work. Therefore, the most important step in the recycling process is source separation. People who are the first source of waste recycling must be made aware of this and ensure that they adopt this behavior in their daily lives. The objectives of our project were: - Environmental responsibility to raise awareness, - develop positive attitudes towards recycled products, - Multiply studies aimed at minimizing the damage of waste to the environment, health and the economy, - Give people an idea of how to reuse recyclable waste, - make people aware of leaving a cleaner environment for future generations, - Make consumers aware of what they should pay attention to before/when buying/after buying products, - Increase people's preference to buy recyclable products and packaging, - Ensure that people understand the importance of recycling in terms of sustainable consumption and environmental protection, - Make children aware of the importance of recycling and increase their sensitivity to the environment, - Increase recognition of the Erasmus + program and participation in the project, - Raising awareness of the notions of equal opportunities and gender equality, - Develop tolerant attitudes towards different cultures and ways of life, - Sensitize young people to global issues, - Allow young people to increase their creativity and develop their skills, - Raise awareness about the importance of volunteering activities, - Contribute to the elimination of prejudice and cultural awareness.
