In the digitally-transformed landscape intensified by Covid-19, youth interaction patterns are evolving. Digital platforms, while fostering community, also unveil challenges like cyberbullying, especially impacting marginalised youngsters. The lines between virtual and real blur, demanding an adaptive youth work approach. While youngsters navigate these platforms confidently, there's a gap in understanding the full implications. Peer relationships, crucial during teenage years, face both positive and negative digital influences, from fostering self-esteem to intensifying peer pressure. With profound psychological impacts, including depression and even suicidal tendencies among bullied individuals, the role of youth workers becomes paramount. Yet, traditional engagement methods fall short in this digital age. Our project aims to rejuvenate youth work, equipping workers with modern tools, promoting cross-sectoral collaboration, and emphasising peer education to holistically support youngsters in this digital era.
