As a Higher Education Institution we have an obligation towards our students and society to support our students’ development of international competences during their studies. These competences can be both professional, personal, social, cultural and linguistic and prepare students for their profession in an international environment after graduation. The Erasmus+ project allows us to carry out mobility activities for both students, teachers and non-academic staff which is crucial for the development of international competences and a global view. By going abroad to experience other cultures, values and practices, students get well prepared for their future and teachers get new insight and knowledge to the benefit of their students. The Erasmus+ project is very helpful in supporting the many activities that we undertake to increase our mobility – both for staff and students. We know that the impact of mobility is important at both personal and professional level and the more outgoing mobility we have, the more incoming mobility will follow which in turn helps to strengthen our international learning environment at campus.
