The Erasmus+ programme contributes significantly to VIA University Colleges endeavours to internationalise its educational programmes, students and staff as well as VIA's position on the global market for education. In 2021 VIA University College presented an international strategy for internationalisation at home (in Denmark) and abroad. VIA has made it a priority to include an international element in all our educational programmes. The Erasmus+ programme is a key element in actualising VIA's international strategy and to promote and position VIA as a Higher Educational Institution (HEI) with a strong academic performance. The students and staff who undertake a mobility period abroad all bring back valuable information and experiences to be employed in educational programmes, projects or research which they are involved in - to the benefit of themselves, their fellow students and staff and VIA as a whole. The Erasmus+ programme is available to all students enrolled in VIA's educational programmes as well as to all staff.
