Roskilde University (RUC) has participated in the Erasmus Program since its beginning and has managed to build up an extensive partner portfolio over the years. Partners and activities represent an academic and geographic diversity, which is in line with the objectives set forth in RUC's strategy at the time of the implementation of this project (RUC 2030: Interconnected – https://ruc.dk/en/strategy-profile-and-values ). During this period, RUC has – among other things – focused on the following areas: 1. Increased focus on exchange of students and staff in general 2. Increased focus on outgoing traineeships 3. The establishment of strategic partnerships and consortia with relevant universities both within and outside of Europe Regarding the last point, RUC successfully applied for funding under the second pilot call (2020) of the European Universities Initiative and became a founding partner of the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA).
