DTU aims to develop Europe’s best engineering education where students can realize their full potential and master technologies for the benefit of people and society. DTU is internationally renowned for its elite polytechnic research and the education of outstanding and innovative engineers. Internationalization is an important driving force for digital and sustainable change. All DTU students are encouraged to study or to do an Internship abroad. DTU students further gain international experience by actively participating in the international study environment at DTU, meeting students and researchers from around the globe. DTU's internationalization strategy is implemented through a broad range of activities. DTU participates in alliances with universities in the Nordic Countries, Europe and the rest of the world. This includes among others student and staff exchanges, collaboration on study programmes, recruitment of international full degree students, research, and innovation. Our continuing participation in the Erasmus+ programme plays an important role in the work to fulfill this mission, by supporting outgoing student and staff mobilities and by facilitating incoming exchanges from partners throughout Europe and beyond.
