The primary goal of implementing the project was to address the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically the significant impact on employment, with 5.2 million fewer individuals employed in the second quarter of 2020 compared to the end of 2019. Recognizing the disproportionate effect on youth employment and the barriers young people face in training, education, and entering the labor market, the project aimed to combat youth unemployment during this global crisis. The partners sought to devise smart and sustainable strategies to activate young people and facilitate the creation of work opportunities for them. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: Inspiring Sustainable Entrepreneurship: Provide youth workers with tools and methods to inspire and motivate young people to become sustainable entrepreneurs. Market Awareness and Sustainable Growth: Enhance the knowledge of youth workers regarding the current demands of the market and introduce them to new strategies for sustainable growth. Innovative Approaches in Non-formal Education: Introduce youth workers to new and innovative approaches and methods in non-formal education. International Cooperation: Enhance international cooperation by bringing together youth workers from diverse backgrounds and organizations, providing them with opportunities for learning, cooperation, and the exchange of innovative practices. The project included an 8-day training course attended by 29 participants in Copenhagen. The choice of Copenhagen as the venue was made to facilitate an nice learning experience for participants. The project aimed to contribute to Erasmus+ objectives by promoting the mobility of youth workers, fostering quality, creativity, and innovation. Additionally, the project aligned with the EU Youth Strategy (Engage, Connect, Empower) by promoting non-formal education as a means of engaging and empowering young people. The project further contributed to Erasmus+ action's specific objectives by: Professional Development: Supporting the professional development of youth workers from partner organizations to enhance the quality of youth work at the local, regional, national, and European levels.
