Objectives

We wanted to have MORE and BETTER youth projects, securing a green transition, led by youth. The training seminar should serve how to use the Erasmus+ programme as a support structure for that purpose. Overall Objective: To enable participants to create high-quality youth projects, by enhancing the overall quality of youth work by integrating digital tools and cooperation methods. The project aimed to achieve several immediate objectives: Capacity building - 'Make Youth Work Green': - Motivate and enable partner organizations for successful European youth projects, by providing comprehensive training on utilizing opportunities in the new Erasmus+ program. - Focus on green transition, climate change, and active citizenship aligned with the European Green Deal. Capacity building - 'Digital Youth': - Embrace digital tools as integral components of collaborative work in the youth field. - Facilitate training by an experienced expert in digital tools, fostering knowledge, skills, and a positive attitude towards digital collaboration. And a cross cutting theme was networking: - Strengthen the European network of youth leaders and workers. - Assist project partners in finding organizations for future collaborations. - Create a space for youth from different countries to connect, inspire each other, and initiate collaborations. And all to happen through peer learning and knowledge transfer: - Foster peer learning and knowledge transfer among partner organizations. - Establish a peer-to-peer structure among Baltic Ecovillage Network (BEN) countries to avoid disparities in European integration in youth work. - Strengthen BEN's presence in the European sphere through project experience, emphasizing green transition and active citizenship. - Enhance the European dimension of youth activities. - Provide platforms for young people to co-create and shape their own youth projects, contributing to sustainability and youth engagement. Overall, the project sought to empower partner organizations, build capacities in green youth initiatives and digital tools, facilitate networking, and position BEN strongly within the European framework, all while fostering collaborative platforms for youth engagement and sustainability.
