A model was developed for mobilizing and mentoring marginalized youths and communities to work with the SDGs. This increases the chances of reaching agenda 2030 by creating possible conditions for involving all, and "leaving no one behind" - no matter the resource base or background.
Our project targeted marginalized youth in Denmark and Norway, aiming to bridge the gap in understanding and involvement in the SDGs. By developing low-cost methods and tools, we sought to empower these communities and contribute to multiple SDGs. This initiative aligned with the objectives of CCCF and Creatorium, enhancing their ability to engage with marginalized groups and decipher complex SDG terminology. The project addressed marginalized youth's desire for recognition and integration into mainstream society by providing space for their narratives and empowering them through small SDG-related actions and long-term mentorship. The cross-country implementation fostered diversity of narratives and ideas, enriching experiences for both partners and participants.
