The overall objective of the BANG! project was to enable Europe’s youth to tackle an increasingly complex world, by supporting young learners and their educators with a tailored digital and blended learning framework and programme geared towards developing creativity, well-being and co- creation…. -To equip youth with the ability to understand new concepts, think critically and creatively and act entrepreneurially to develop and apply new ideas. -To support youth succeeding in a digital and interconnected world while working with innovation, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration. -To provide society with active youth focused on new socially oriented solutions for existing and emerging problems. - To support youth developing a practice around their well-being.
We applied to the BANG! project with the aim of addressing needs within European high schools. The project's emphasis on empowering youth to actively engage in and enhance their skills when it comes to creativity, mental health and well-being and co-creation resonates with our values at Kaospilot. One of the key aspects that drew us to apply for this project during COVID19 is its commitment to leveraging digital technologies to create inclusive learning environments. At Kaospilot we have been developing inclusive learning environments for over 30 years - and during COVID19 we needed to adapt to the changing world in order to keep providing this value to educators and young students.
