We planned and conducted this project to explore the various Internet platforms that are currently used to organize online learning. Also, to find out what specialized programs, applications and services could be useful for online courses. We also wanted to gain practical experience with technical tools for online broadcasts and online education for our teachers, and be able to use that knowledge. They mastered the methodological tricks of acting and working on camera and the structure of building an online lesson. Project participants learned how to use the opportunities to promote online learning through various resources.
Our organisation has been working in the field of teaching creativity and craft for almost 18 years, we conduct and organise various master classes and professional training in various technologies - tiffany stained glass, mosaic, fusing (glass baking) and much more. During the period of restrictions related to Covid 19, we faced the obstacle that we are not ready to transfer our training to an online format. We did not had such experience before and we lacked the knowledge of how to organize it correctly, what teaching methods to use, how to promote online learning, what resources are needed. Therefore, we developed and implemented this project in order to train teachers in the techniques, methods and technical tools of online work, to study and select platforms and IT solutions for organizing high-quality online classes in order to learn how to properly promote them in the online environment.
