Tartu Health Care College has been awarded with an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education for implementing learning mobility activities for higher education students and staff. Participation in the mobility activities has allowed us to work towards the goals set for internationalization in the Development Plan 2021-2025 (https://www.nooruse.ee/dokumendid/ARENGUKAVA2020ENG.pdf): Strategic Objective E4, Internationalisation is supporting the quality of health care education and the recognition of the college Sub-Objective E4.1 Internationally competitive education Sub-Objective E4.2 Environment that supports internationalisation With the implementation of this project, we wanted to continue the successful engagement of our students and employees in mobility activities, in order to improve the quality of learning and teaching, but also research and development, as mobilities serve the opportunities for contact-making and knowledge sharing. Generally our student mobilities are traineeships, as practical training is essential part of our curricula. International work experience provides our students more choices in the labour market, and helps to increase the quality of health care both on local and international level.
