The primary goal was for students to be able to make a presentation of their work and preferences to an audience which consisted of students from different linguistic, cultural and educational backgrounds. The students had to accomplish a productive task and they should find ways in order to elaborate on issues that up to that time, they thought obvious. It was a difficult process for teenagers that tend to be more passive and for the first time they had to present their preferences and support their preferences. In addition, they had to organise a tight, clear and well-structured presentation with the use of digital tools.
We wanted our students to work together with students from other countries and exchange their experiences and preferences concerning contemporary music of their countries. During this process the Greek students presented what they had already accomplished in our school( the creation of a contemporary music blog with interviews from modern Greek musicians and bands, social media and radio programmes).
