Increasing the active participation of our students, especially the Roma, in the learning process in order to increase their attendance in the classroom but also to take an active part in the lesson. Reduction of the percentage of our students who drop out of any kind of education and training at the end of their compulsory education (Roma in their vast majority). Participation of trainees in Erasmus + activities to gain transnational insight and learning experience on integration methods and teaching tools that can be applied to promote diversity in the approach to the educational process and tolerance. Promoting the school integration of Roma students because both active participation in school activities and early school leaving are interrelated issues and are often the reason why some of our graduates face problems later in their social integration
The conditions that have developed in our area and especially in our school have raised as a major issue the socially vulnerable groups and especially the Roma children who are now a very important percentage (40%) of the students of our school. The continuous increase in the number of Roma students with the result that while in the 3rd grade the percentage is 30%, in the second is 35% and in the first 65%, it exacerbates the existing problems of the daily educational process. The daily life of these children, the low financial possibilities of their families and their limited social experiences, create special conditions that often make the work of our staff difficult both at the administrative and educational level. These parameters motivated our project.
