Background

The 10th GEL of Heraklion, is a school with several peculiarities due to the low socio-economic level of the area. It mainly accommodates students from semi-urban and rural areas, children of economic migrants and students with learning problems. In most departments there is inhomogeneity and usually teachers have to face several problems such as: -Low school performance of students and lack of interest in the teaching process. -Difficulties of adaptation and social integration for disadvantaged students. -School dropout of students. In order to meet the above needs of the school, the additional training of teachers is necessary in order to mobilize, integrate all students and improve their performance. The school first applied for a mobility plan in 2019, but conditions did not allow the activities to be completed and all the objectives achieved.
