The training activity that has been decided was relevant to: The teachers' participation in a training course that focused on creating a digital learning environment that integrates all the technological means in the learning process. The participants learned how to implement E-learning through all kind of digital tools and tactics, got familiar with new and innovative teaching methods and used interactive tools for the creation of digitalized material and activities. All the above will trigger student's interest for participation and dynamic engagement in the learning process. The particular training course strengthed teachers' role and increase their skills, so they will be able to create a safe, creative, innovative and fully technologically equipped learning environment that helped students achieve their learning goals.
The title of the Project that has been planned by our school unit is: "Creativity in Teaching and Learning using ICT: The Digital Classroom" and its duration will be fifteen months. In the process of making our school pedagogicaly modernized and more international and after a discussion among the teaching staff of the school, it was decided that a European Staff Mobility Training Project should be planned and further organized. One subject area was selected and planned according to teachers’ interests and educational needs school targets as well. The aim of the school project overall was set to develop and encance the educational work of the school. Six teachers of our school (the Headteacher, the IT teacher, the English teacher, the Fhysical Education teacher, the Philologist teacher and the theologian teacher ) were selected according to their advanced skills, willingness, team spirit and diligence.
