We believe that the current pandemic situation has highlighted the importance of life in rural environments and has made us worry about our eating habits and new life style. If there is one lesson to be learned from all the complexities, we believe it could be ours. In this way, we will combine the goal of discovering our environmental heritage with promoting a range of healthy habits in our educational community, among which we can point out: maintaining a healthy diet, engaging in regular physical activity, recycling and integrating readers. . In recent years, our school has been promoting projects and activities related to these healthy habits, with the aim of preventing childhood obesity and raising awareness about responsible consumption. The aim of the project is to develop beneficial practices for a personal well-being and good health.
Today, in a society characterized by a sedentary lifestyle and progressive development of an industrial diet, we can realize the need to inform our students and promote healthy practices (Mediterranean diet, exercise, etc.) to achieve physical and mental harmony. We expect that by acquiring these values and applying these healthy habits, we may be able to quantify some improvement in academic performance in collaboration with our partners. To achieve this, we will use the internationalization of our projects and ICT tools, leaving the collected project results to the school unit. In addition, we intend for our students to be involved in the knowledge of the culture of the various European countries, offering educational experiences from the schools we will visit. This project is aimed at primary school students (10 to 12) years old. A group of students of this age will be used aAgroup of students of this age.
