The implementation of European Programs can play a leading role in achieving the goals of our school. Erasmus+ provides opportunities for education and training with an emphasis on maintaining high quality in its actions. We seek to educate the school's teachers about the new goals and opportunities provided, so that we can prepare sound proposals that will lead to the implementation of programs that will benefit the entire student community. Our goal is to establish a strong team with skills in planning, organizing and supporting European programs.
The school is an educational institution with a specific pedagogical and social mission, an institution that performs specific pedagogical and social functions and which was created and established due to the imperative need to provide "organized, systematic and methodical education, teaching and learning", as a product of the scientific, cultural, economic and social development of a social group or country. Velo High School, attended by approximately 200 students, offers the standard education of a General High School as defined by the written provisions. In addition, the school's teachers prepare cultural, environmental and Health Education programs on an annual basis. Students' participation in European programs enhances their linguistic and cultural understanding, helps them develop communication skills, leadership skills and other skills that can enhance their professional development and increases their chances for careers in international environments.
