The aim of this mobility plan is the acquisition of knowledge and skills by the students of our school, during an internship in appropriately selected workplaces lasting two (2) weeks in Seville, Spain. Simultaneously with this main goal, we sought for the students who participated in the mobility to improve their language communication skills, to strengthen their self-confidence as they had to move and act in a modern work environment full of challenges and opportunities. The accompanying teachers, who would accompany the project, to acquire additional skills such as administrative and managerial ability in coordinating the program.
EPAL Velestinou is a public vocational high school integrated in the secondary education provided by the Ministry of Education. The following classes, sectors and specialties operate in the school: In the first grade, students receive knowledge of general education in combination with introductory technical elective courses. In the second grade, there are three sectors: the "Agriculture, Food and Environment" sector, the "Administration and Economy" sector and the "Informatics" sector. In the third grade, there are three specialties which correspond to each of the above fields: the specialty "Crop Production Technician", the specialty "Administrative and Financial Services Employees", as well as the specialty "IT Application Technician". The school also operates the "Post-Secondary Year - Apprenticeship" which supports the specialty of "Administrative and Financial Services Employees".
