The main objectives of the project were: (a) Improvement of education and services provided by the university to the academic community and the society in general. The teaching staff participating in the mobility actions is expected to enrich, expand and renew their research and teaching experience. The outgoing students are expected to enrich their studies and knowledge, to learn local languages and to familiarise with the different cultural elements of each country. Incoming students obtain equivalent experiences and new opportunities in line with the above mentioned. The mobility of administrative staff aims at the education and the transfer of good practices and know-how overall. (b) There is an imperative need for the increase of courses offered in English, since the demand of incoming teaching staff and students has notably enlarged. (c) The steady increase of the number of student mobility for studies and traineeship on an annual basis (according to the European strategic goals for education), while encouraging and supporting at the same time students with fewer opportunities in the framework of inclusion. (d) The constant increase of the staff mobility for teaching and training. (e) enhancing prestige and internationalisation of the University
