Recognizing the positive effect of the programme on the entire university community, Harokopio University of Athens (HUA) continues to support and promote in all ways the Erasmus+ mobility programme for students, faculty and administrative staff. The Erasmus+ programme is considered a central factor in the Internationalization Strategy of our University. Through its participation in the programme, HUA has consolidated and strengthened its position on the map of European University Institutions and has achieved higher levels of extroversion and internationalisation. The major goal of the 2021 programme, was to develop a supportive environment, to encourage the mobilization of more participants and to promote new mobility opportunities (virtual or blended mobility), so as to regain the momentum that had been developed in the propandemic years. With the 2021 program, a total of seventy-three (73) mobilities were implemented of which sixty-seven (67) involved students and six (6) mobilities involved faculty and administrative staff. Those results are above the expected number of mobilities described in the programme plan.
