The implementation of the principles of the new Erasmus Charter (ECHE), the max. consumption of funds, the high mobility rates combined with the more efficient recognition of courses (in terms of studies, the high quality of the providing services, the excellent communication with students and staff of the UoC and other HEI/organisations within the country and abroad, were the objectives of the Dep. of IRO of the two campuses with regard to the Erasmus+ 2021 Project in combination with the gradual implementation of new types of mobility and the international dimension of Erasmus+. As the launch of the Project took place through the pandemic, the safety of the participants but also the encouragement of the mobility for internationalisation were very important to UoC. Adaptation, frequent communication with the State Scholarships Foundation, the Ministries-Embassies-Consulates were necessary to manage the impact of the corona virus. Measures had been applied to address various cases of students mobilities that were in progress, in order to compensate them for additional costs that may have occurred. A blended mobility version needed to be added to the IIAs (online and face-to-face course attendance or internship implementation).
