The main aim set by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) for the implementation of the 2021-1-EL01-KA131-HED-000012561 mobility project was the development of its international cooperation activities and in general the internationalization of the Institution. More specifically, the NKUA’s goals were the cooperation with a large number of European Institutions and other host organizations for students from all Erasmus+ partner countries, the increase of students' and staff mobility as well as the improvement of the quality of mobility. The University aimed at large numbers of students' and staff mobility to and from partner Universities of European countries based on inter-institutional agreements and the cooperation with many organizations that host students for traineeships in European countries participating in Erasmus+. Finally, NKUA organised 5 Blended Intensive Programs with significant benefits for the participants, the most important of which was the enhancement of their critical thinking and creativity and offering inspiration and motivation for further research on the topics they dealt with.
