Prejudice Against Refugees was the main topic of this project and if we faced it only in the mind of our participants, we obtained a big result. Our project activity took place at Welcommon hostel in Athens where refugees and migrants were hosted at that time. We had the opportunity to invite them to our sessions and give floor to them in order to speak about them and their life difficulties. We had dinner together, cooked together and we played with their children. The main points of our project were: Transferring information from the right sources and keeping the interaction with the refugees as high as possible. Thus, we aimed for the participants to be able to empathise better and to have social awareness in this sense. The overall objective of the project was to inform the youngsters about the real motivation of the refugees to leave their country and break the prejudice against refugees and to increase the sensitivity of the society. Specific objectives were; 1) To inform (increase the knowledge level of) the participants by introducing them to the refugees’ situations and the stories of the different countries. 2) To combat stereotypes and xenophobia of the youngsters 3) To improve the empathy of the participants with interactive practices 4) To improve communication between participants and refugees through social activities 5) To produce solutions for refugee problems 6) To ensure that the refugees are more involved in the society as a result of the awareness created 7) To contribute to the studies on refugee problems 8) To improve the awareness chain with the experiment conducted for the public
